What is Slip-Seating?
Slip-seating means two drivers share the same truck on different schedules. When one driver completes their route and returns to the terminal, the truck is prepared for the next scheduled driver.
This allows our equipment to stay productive while helping provide steady work and dependable equipment for our drivers.

Computer Systems Analyst
Rapid Transport is seeking a Computer Systems Analyst to support and maintain the company's technology infrastructure across multiple business locations. This position is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining network and computer systems, assisting with software applications, and ensuring the reliable operation of IT equipment and services.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues in person, by phone, or through remote assistance.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Support and maintain the company's local area networks (LANs), network infrastructure, and connected systems.
- Perform routine system updates, software installations, and network maintenance to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance on computers, network equipment, and peripheral devices.
- Monitor and support GPS tracking systems installed throughout the company's fleet.
- Provide ongoing support, monitoring, and troubleshooting for transportation, logistics, and business software applications.
- Assist the IT Manager with network administration, infrastructure improvements, and specialized technology projects.
- Respond promptly to IT service requests and emergency technical issues.
- Maintain accurate documentation of IT assets, network equipment, maintenance activities, support requests, and resolutions.
- Maintain inventory records for computer equipment, networking hardware, and related technology assets.
- Document system issues, corrective actions, and preventative measures to improve overall IT operations.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant IT support or systems administration experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
